Profile of Parley’s Park Elementary
At Parley’s Park Elementary School, we have 541 students (K-5), with 289 males and 252 females. We have 402 Caucasian, 129 Hispanic, 13 Asian, 2 African American, and 1 American Indian student. We are a school that serves PreK to 5th grade with about 600 students in total. We are a targeted Title school which means that we have about 26% of our students receive free or reduced lunch assistance.
We offer a full education program that concentrates on educating the whole child:
Our school is unique, we are able to teach the core subjects in English and Spanish, half of our student body experience the dual language immersion process.
Students in grades K-5 experience art, music, coding, physical education, dance, and a newly created Makerspace room.
We have a full time nurse that is available to all students.
We organize and perform a schoolwide play that is top quality.
Our newly formed, end of the year, International Arts Festival showcases our own student talent which always packs a punch.
Our parents are very supportive of our school, so much so that we have a Welcoming committee, parents that volunteer at our drop-off location, dads that help put lines on our soccer fields and many more that are part of our fantastic PTA organization.
We have 44 licensed staff, 26 support staff, and 1 administrator. Our average class size is 21.
